Fire Opal & Garnet Dragon Egg Pendant

Sometimes you find a stone that clearly has a story to tell through it’s setting. That is what happened with this jaw dropping piece of Mexican Fire Opal. When we found this it was clear that it was a hatching dragon’s egg and any piece that we made for it would need to show that off.

This sterling silver pendant’s back features acid etched dragon scales and a hand-pierced “egg-crack” to show off the Opal portion that runs the full depth of the stone. The front of the pendant shows off the Fire Opal’s beautiful namesake color with an orange Garnet accent on the heavy bail.
